Hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, where many a night has been spent soaking up the vast array of electronic beats and organic tempos. Raised on Handbag-House in the mid 90’s alongside a healthy dose of hedonism at a time when record stores ruled the roost.
From red-eye flights and breezy beach bars to concrete club confines the DJ booth has always felt comfortable. Fifteen years has allowed opportunities to gig in Switzerland, Amsterdam (ADE), Prague and of course South Africa.
The desire to make records came from playing them and seeing the effect they had on people. Over time a sound has transposed through my works that has found flavour with labels like Large Music, i! Records, Something Different, Pole Position, Savoir Faire, Tango and my own baby Oh So Coy Recordings.
